The mall was launched amidst great pomp and show at a gala event, which included an extravagant fashion show featuring designer Babita Malkani’s collection and exquisite jewellery designed by Neelam Kothari, for which national and international models were flown in from Mumbai. The launch was also graced by Bollywood actors - the lovely Mugdha Godse and Neelam Kothari. During the event, Mugdha spoke about her love for Kolkata and how she finds some reason or the other to come back here. The high profile launch saw the coming together of the city’s Who’s Who. After the launch, guests made it to a post-event party at GLD Amarna.
